Bandon Co-op / Gardens and Driveways
 Founded in 1903, the members of this community based organisation are situated within the radius of Kinsale and Bandon towns. The Company has a turnover of £30 million, providing direct employment for sixty people and a further twenty indirectly in the provision of services. It has also contributed significantly to development of the local economy.
Bandon Co-op, primarily a Dairy Co-op, assembles 17 million gallons of milk annually and processes 50 per cent in Bandon with the remainder supplied to Carbery Milk Products in Ballineen, in which Bandon Co-op holds 25 per cent of the equity.
Bandon holds 42% equity of Clona Dairy Products, a liquid milk and distribution company. A further aspect is servicing the input requests of it's 2,500 shareholder / customer base. Bandon has invested significantly in recent years with its own development and acquisitions amounting to £15m. Part of this investment has been in the vegetable sector with an annual output of 2,500 tonnes of locally grown onions. These are being cured and marketed by Bandon Valley Foods.
Adding value to this development led to the establishment of a Food Processing Centre, where four new food enterprises are operating successfully. This is known as the Brewery Food Centre.
